POSITION:
Supervisors: Assessment Supervisor to provide assessment support to site supervisor responsible for the Specialized High School Admissions Test (approximately 8 positions)

James Madison High School: 3787 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11229;
Sunset Park High School: 153 35th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232;
Hillcrest High School: 160-05 Highland Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11432;
Long Island City High School: 14-30 Broadway, Long Island City, NY 11106;
Staten Island Technical High School: 485 Clawson Street, Staten Island, NY 10306
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
New York City Department of Education licensed and appointed supervisor or Education Administrator, including appointed Principal.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Previous experience in supervising the SHSAT exams is preferred, however knowledge in all areas of test administration and security may also be accepted.
- Satisfactory rating is required.
- Satisfactory letter of application which includes your qualifications (See below)
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the weekend Test Site Coordinator at the SHSAT testing sites
- Ensure all test administration guidelines are followed, and
- Provide immediate feedback to test site coordinators or central managers who have questions about the test administration.
WORK SCHEDULE:
November 16-December 15, 2024; (50 hours maximum per position which include hours for supervising the weekend administrations.) ADDITIONAL HOURS GRANTED UPON THE APPROVAL OF THE HIRING MANAGER.
Hours up to, but not limited to the approximate number of hours listed. Additional hours may be granted upon the approval of the hiring manager.
SALARY:
Per Session rates as per the relevant union/organization of the advertised title (Collective Bargaining Agreement). Contingent upon funding availability and programmatic approval.
